#OPW hit with another blow

Our Perfect Wedding has lost another sponsor.

Following a VERY controversial recent episode where the groom admitted to being a womaniser and dating teenagers, Absa pulled their sponsorship of the show.

And now Vodacom has followed suit.

Vodacom’s Head of Corporate Affairs Tshepo Ramodibe told Eye Witness News: “I can confirm that up until Monday 30 November, we were as associate sponsor. But regrettably the episode that aired that Sunday was directly opposite to our values and what the brand stands for.”

Note to all reality shows going forward: There is a way to push the boundaries – what #OPW did is NOT it.
