Guys, when last did you hear from Pitch Black Afro? Talk about a blast from the past!
The rapper, who had great success a couple of years ago – even going double platinum, is currently busy with a new album.
He recently did an interview with V-Entertainment, where he spoke about his rise to fame: “Apparently [I was] the highest-selling hip hop artist of the past nine years. I was straight from the streets… Suddenly I was in the limelight, and suddenly I’m the highest-selling hip hop artist.”
He described this as a humbling feeling, adding: “And it’s scary in a way because the people you know change, they don’t become your friends anymore… I can never say enough about that, it’s a humbling experience for sure.”
Okay, that was the past. What’s he been up to lately?
He said on the show: “I’m working on a new comeback album. The album will be dropped next year. This year a couple of singles are gonna be released, probably eight.”
