Uwrongo boasts a stellar list of collaborators including Shimza, Black Motion and topped off with the soothing vocals of Ami Faku. The song sits comfortably at number nine and is the only song from not only South Africa, but Africa as a whole. This makes Prince Kaybee the first African artist to be featured on the list. Now that's history!

The song has topped the South African charts, and reached the number one spot at some point. The music video currently has over 3 million views on YouTube and over 30K likes. According to Music In Africa, the song also reached big Gold status just two months after it's release in January 30.

His bae Zola Zeelovin even congratulated him:

This year alone has been a very bright year for the DJ, but following the announcement made by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, Prince does not wish to received such nods.

This achievement alone does not sit well with Prince Kaybee who feels someone else should have been given the accolade instead of him. The Hosh hitmaker says people from his home country do not celebrate him enough, seeing how Time Magazine gave him the very big stamp of approval.

Allow us to list just some of the achievements from this year alone, Prince won his very first international award this year at the prestigious Sound City MVP Awards for his hit song Gugulethu featuring Indlovukazi. He was nominated nine times at this year's South African Music Awards and was the biggest winner when he walked away with four wins, including Male Artist Of The Year, Album Of The Year for his album Re Mmino, as well as Best Dance Album and Best Produced Music Video for Fetch Your Life featuring Msaki. That's not all, he also received the most noms at the Dstv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards (MVCA) and won Song Of The Year for his hit Gugulethu.

Even with all of these wins, including the social media shout outs, the success of his Project Hope album, the growing business ventures and the ambassadorship gigs, Prince does not want to be applauded by Mzansi, and he got dragged for that statement.

"I wish someone else could’ve gotten the nod, really tired of these wins and don’t get celebrated enough, I mean even the person reporting this couldn’t even tag me. But this is nice," he commented.
