Sbahle Mpisane’s Family In New Reality Show

Sbahle Mpisane’s fans will soon get a glimpse into her family’s wealthy lifestyle.

According to the Daily Sun, Sbahle’s stepmom, Shauwn Mpisane has been shooting scenes for her new reality show, Durban Royalty.

The Mzansi Magic reality show will document the wealthy businesswoman’s day-to-day life. Sbahle and her brother Andile are both expected to make appearances.

The Mpisane family has had an eventful past few years.

Shauwn and her husband S’bu Mpisane have been in and out of court over the past decade because SARS claims that the business partners owe the taxman R141 million.

Shauwn’s businesses have also come under scrutiny after reportedly receiving over R1,1 billion in tenders.

That’s not the only storm to hit the Mpisane household, as the City Press reported in February that Shauwn and S’bu are headed for splitsville.

The power couple filed for divorce just six months after dealing with a family crisis – which was the near-fatal crash that Sbahle was involved in, resulting in 80% of her bones being broken.

Sbahle is still recovering from the incident and took her first unassisted steps in July – nearly one year after the crash.

Despite their challenges, the Mpisane family appear as one that is close knit.

We’ve seen Shauwn by Sbahle’s side throughout her ordeal. Earlier this year, she organised for singer Thinah Zungu to serenade Sbahle with one of her favourite songs, Kwanqab Umusa, during a hospital visit.

The Mpisane family also has some famous friends we are hoping to see on their show. Former first lady, Tobeka Madiba-Zuma and Minnie Dlamini are said to have close relationships with Shauwn.

Shauwn told the Daily Sun that she began shooting her new show three months ago.

“People will see the growth of Andile as a businessman and Good Samaritan and his music career. They will also see the recovery of my daughter,” she told the publication.
