Production House – Seriti Films posted a video of the first day on set and it’s cast members looked super excited to start working towards entertaining Mzansi once again.
The video featured cast members such as the likes of Sihle Ndaba and Winnie Ntshaba.

Winnie Ntshaba’s has gained a new found respect from viewers who knew her from her acting days on SABC 1’s Generations.
Although she plays the role of an evil wife and mother who practices witchcraft, viewers have come to love her role as her character is also somewhat comedic at times.

Seriti films received five nominations at this years SAFTAs for The Herd and although the production company didn’t win an award, the return of a second season is surely way better than receiving a SAFTA at this moment.
The female cast of The Herd also received great acknowledgement when they featured on the cover of Essays Magazine last year, just a few days after it was announced that the show was confirmed for a second season.
Seriti Films also shared a video of the production team going over a brain storm session back in November. These videos are getting us super excited of what is to come on the second season of this show.

There is no further information about when the second season will air on TV but we’ll keep you posted.
