The award-winning thespian will be showcasing his latest theatre piece titled - House of Truth.

Sello is one of the most accomplished and revered actors locally and internationally, known for his memorable roles on popular TV shows such as Archie Moroka on Generations, Daniel Nyathi on Scandal, and the most recent, Kgosietsile on The Queen.

House of Truth is a theatre masterpiece written by Siphiwo Mahala about distinguished South African writer; Can Themba.

Sello was incredibly inspired by Can Themba, a man he cites to have inspired him to continue acting when he had lost hope and wanted to quit. He is also excited to be demonstrating black excellence to both young and old, celebrating the life of an outstanding journalist and history contributor.

“He revived my career. If it was not for him, I would not be this actor I am today. I urge people to come see this show at the Soweto Theatre as we also accommodate the deaf, with a sign language interpreter on two special Sundays, a rarity in local theatre. I’m back where is all started for me, in Soweto”, commented Sello.

House of Truth will premiere at the Soweto Theatre on the 10 - 21 May 2017.
