Shauwn Mkhize, fresh from the United States of America graced the Metro FM airwaves this morning with an exhilarating interview with broadcasters Moeti “Moflava” Tsiki and Khutso Theledi on Wake Up With Metro. She spoke about her 5-star experience at the Oscars and BET awards red carpets respectively, suggested that she wishes for the same standard for South African media productions and further mentioned that she would like to bring that level of live show production to Mzansi.

The business mogul, 2021 woman of the year and carefree entertainer who gained Mzansi’s recognition and admiration from flashing her wealth, lifestyle, personality and smart business moves spoke about the controversial abuse allegations made by social media influencer Sithelo Shozi against her son Andile Mpisane last month, her glam girl era and shared her findings from attending America’s BET and Oscar Awards. What stuck out most for both the listeners and interviewers on the show from the interview was MaMkhize’s wish to bring the high-end production from the Oscars and BET Awards to Mzansi. Speaking to Moflava, the businesswoman said, “I wanted to be at the Oscars and at the BETs and boy oh boy it has been an amazing experience.”
Mamkhize continued bragging about her experience, “Remember you don’t just enter those red carpets, and for me, I have noticed two things, the production and the stage. The stage was big and performances moved from stage to stage.” She added, “That is something we as South Africans should do, and I would love to bring it to South Africa. We need to bring it to South Africa. Their red carpet is not common, it’s like you’re entering into a house.”She mentioned that the treatment at the BET and Oscar's red carpets is top tier. According to MaMkhize, the media is briefed beforehand on whoever is walking the red carpet; they have their short biography ready and their involvement in the event and media industry at large, allowing all international media to have relevant questions for them prior ro gracing the carpet and she believes that’s commendable and the kind of media production standards South African media should be aspiring to.
The reality TV star and multi-millionaire Shauwn "MaMkhize" Mkhize has been under fire with social media users for allegedly enabling his son Andile Mpisane, who is facing charging of domestic abuse after being exposed for allegedly abusing his baby mama Sithelo Shozi.
Speaking on this, Mamkhize maintained that she has never witnessed Sithelo being abused by her son or any member of her family. “I would like to categorically state that neither myself nor my family has been witness to any alleged abuse. These allegations are false and defamatory.”
She added that she would be seeking legal action: “Given the nature, severity, and extent of these allegations, the matter has been referred to our legal team. It’s of the utmost importance that the law takes its course," she concluded.
