Shauwn Mkhize’s house is located in the upscale suburbs of La Lucia in Durban, Kwa Zulu-Natal.

La Lucia neighbourhood boasts of wealthy residents and beautiful scenery. It is one of the most affluent places to live in Durban.

Shauwn Mkhize’s is undoubtedly one of the biggest celebrity houses in South Africa and honestly calling it a house is an understatement.

To begin with, the property is located on several acres of land. An aerial view of the house would make you think that you are looking at a King’s palace or even the statehouse.

After purchasing their house, the Mpisane family went on to purchase the adjoining properties and converted them to suit their tastes and needs.

A giant driveway connects the main gates to the house and we assume that it’s probably impractical to walk from the gate to Shauwn Mkhize’s front door.


Showroom

In 2007, it was reported that Shauwn Mkhize and her ex Sbu Mpisane bought their first adjacent property at a whopping price of R2.5 million.

They converted the property into a showroom for their luxury car collection. According to reports, the showroom has over 60 sleek cars that include Rolls Royce, Masserati, Porsche Turbo, Aston Martin, and a Ferrari just to name a few.

Entertainment pad


In 2014, Shauwn and Sbu paid R2.9 million to purchase a 1611 metres squared plot of land adjacent to their house.

They demolished the existing structures and converted the property into a teenage entertainment pad for their only son- Andile Mpisane. Reports indicate that the tycoons spent over R2 million to construct the entertainment pad.

How much was Shauwn Mkhize’s house?


According to sources, Shauwn Mkhize and her ex-husband Sbu Mpisane bought the house in the mid-1990s at an undisclosed price.

In 2008, Shauwn Mkhize’s house was valued at R17 million and in 2017 its value had risen to R25 million.

Besides her La Lucia mansion, Shauwn Mkhize also owns several properties in South Africa and abroad.

She owns a luxury giant house in Sandton, Johannesburg whose worth is estimated at around R20 million.

MaMkhize also owns apartments in Izinga Estate which houses Andile Mpisane's ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Sithole Shozi, who lives with her children.
