Actor Shona Ferguson on Sunday took to social media to send a special birthday shoutout to his “miracle baby”.
As his daughter with Connie Ferguson, Alicia celebrated her 18th birthday, Shona shared a true story about his daughter’s birth.
Shona explained that doctors had told him he would never have children but God had other plans.
“My miracle baby. Daddy loves you more than you will ever know. I was right there when you came into this world and I will always be there whenever you need me,” wrote the actor.
The two have quite the close bond and Alicia has quite the strong resemblance to her father, with each other often referring to each other as twin or doppelganger.
Ali is the only daughter between Connie and Shona but they also share another daughter Lesedi Matsunyane who is from Connie’s former marriage.
