Recently, they gave producers an ultimatum that, if they continued to repeat the same story, they would switch to their shows. This did not fall on deaf ears since the changes are already underway.
According to blogger Phil Mphela, Vazi will star as Brutus (played by Themba Ndaba)'s son. Additionally, there will be two new actors playing his brothers in the movie. It seems as though viewers are not impressed with the news of his casting as some are questioning his acting skills.
Recently, Ferguson Films revealed that it was searching for four of Brutus' sons. Many heaped praises on the production company for not opening up the industry. The category included them being able to speak KZN Zulu.
Many actors have left the show in the last few months, so there seems to be plenty of drama behind the scenes.
The show also recently said goodbye to Cindy Mahlangu, who played the role of Siyanda for some time. However, the announcement included no explanation for her sudden exit.
Another actor who left is SK Khoza. The talented actor who played the role of Shaka Khoza was recently given the boot following assault allegations levelled by his ex-fiancée Ayanda Hlongwane against him. Sunday World reported that the actor was arrested after Mandy after he allegedly physically abused her.
This follows an incident that allegedly took place at Mandy's Fourways home where SK allegedly beat her up. The actor made an appearance at the Randburg magistrate court on October 13, where he received a bail of R2 000.
