Are Social Media Users Thumb Soldiers? Sjava Calls Them Out

Don't just talk about it, be about it

Sjava went straight for the jugular on Twitter yesterday when he called out social media users for being all talk and no action.

The musician, who has been making major moves, seems to thing that many of our social ills could be fixed if people did not tweet/post about the issues but also went out and took action.

In a twitter post he wrote: " The reason why our country izobola [rot] and be f*cked up it’s because our generation only tweets we don’t come together go out there and take action on ANYTHING!!!!!!"

Clearly Sjava was fuming, but some users found irony in the fact that he was making his address ON social media (where nothing happens).

Do you think Sjava has a point? Does being 'woke' only on social media mean anything if it only ends there?
