Skeem Saam has now surpassed one of televisions longest running soapies Generations: The Legacy as it is now the second most watched show in the country.
The Broadcast Research Council of SA released their latest figures and Skeem Saam has proven to capture the hearts of over 9 million South Africans.
Uzalo still reigns supreme however has fallen back on it's viewership whilst Generations: The Legacy, who's reign in the number one spot was halted by Uzalo, is sitting at number three.
Skeem Saam continues to be an educational show that tackles unemployment, infidelity and real life South African stories, that many can relate to.
Their stories resonate with the youth and older people, it is no brainer many people tune in to witness the captivating story telling.
