Somizi Mhlongo has been securing the bag ever since he made his come back into the industry as an Idols SA judge in 2015 and as he continues to stride in his career, his latest announcement has to be his proudest and most iconic moment in his career to date.
Somizi is no stranger to the make-up brush and if you follow the media personality, you'd know that his brows are always on fleek, that's why it came as no surprise to us when he took to social media on Tuesday evening to announce that he was the new face of make-up brand, Black Opal South Africa.
This makes him the first ever man in Africa to represent a make-up brand, a groundbreaking moment for the LGBTI community as well.
Making the announcement, the media personality wrote:
"Iconic moment. Boundaries have been broken. Ladies and gentlemen I’m honored to announce the face of Black Opel South Africa. The first male to represent a make-up brand. when God shows up. He shows off."
