They say the grass is always greener on the other side, and that seems to be the case for Somizi Mhlongo. The Idols SA judge, who’s reportedly going through a messy divorce with husband Mohale Motaung seems to be in a happy and peaceful place. Taking to Instagram the other day to share his usual entertaining videos, he addressed his dental health. The Metro FM, who is very conscious of his hygiene revealed that brushing his teeth is his least favourite daily routine – anything else he can do, but he only brushes his teeth because he has it. “Hello! So I’ve just taken a bath. I haven’t moisturized my face. I’ve always wanted to ask this. Am I the only one – anyone who knows me would know that I’m very ‘cenjerbulated’ as far as my dental health is concerned. I’m very finicky with my mouth and I want to make sure that it smells good all the time.”
However, he does enjoy taking a bath and moisturizing his face. “But, am I the only one who does everything – I look forward to taking a bath, I look forward to moisturizing my face. I look forward to doing my hair but this I do because I have to (Pointing at his toothbrush) am I the only one who is lazy or hates brushing their teeth but do it because they have to.” Said Mlhongo.
Mohale recently turned 26-years-old and what was rather surprising about his celebrations was that Somizi was not present. “I hope you guys are good. I’m amazing,” said Motaung on one of his Instagram stories on his birthday. He was also accompanied by Glam Troupe director @ruddols_ and actor and rumoured ex of Lasizwe Dambuza Wiseman Zitha who joined the celebrations later on. Wiseman’s presence fueled rumours that the two were secretly seeing each other. He penned the sweetest birthday message to Motaung but referred to him as his friend.
“Help me wish my chomiship @mohale_77 a HAPPY BiRTHDAY Y’all,” he posted. “Ndziku navelela siku Raku velekiwa munghana wa Mina cheers to many more years of LAUGHTER, LOVE, SUCCESS and FRIENDSHIP. As you grow older, may you increase in WISDOM and every other aspect.”
Responding to Wiseman Zitha’s post, Mohale said that he couldn’t wait to see him. “I love you so much Munghana wamino! I can’t wait to see you.”
Somizi doesn’t seem to be bothered by any of this as he continues to live his best life. On Mohale’s birthday, he went about his business and kept entertaining us on social media.
