Following the recent disheartening hashtags that have been making rounds on social media, Somizi decided to spread awareness on the issue of bullying saying it leads to dire consequences, i.e the Lufuno Mavhungu incident.

The young Limpopo pupil took her life after being bullied on video and the clip got shared on social media. Taking to social media, Somizi had this to say about bullying, but his message was not received well by everyone.

"Bullying is real...and especially in the social media streets...Twitter being the most toxic app...it's never too late to be kind...bullies can be helped only if they accept that they need help," tweeted.

He got called out for encouraging other people to bully others if they get bullied, "I completely agree with you and I'm gonna change it. When I printed the t-shirt the message came from a place of anger and frustration of being constantly bullied and sending a message that if you are bully you have have come to a dead end with me. Thanks for your perspective."

Bonang also shared the same sentiments saying Twitter has become very toxic. B stated, β€œThis place has become filthy. So unfortunate...yuck!”
Recently, Somgaga visited the home of slain homosexual Andile Ntutela, who was known as Lulu. He along with Nathaniel Mbele, known as Spokgoane and Sphamandla Khoza lost their lives as a result of hate crimes against the LGBTQI community.

Lulu lived in Gqeberha and was said to have been butchered then set alight. The man who killed him buried his body parts in his home.

"Flew to Gqeberha this morning to give support to the family of the brutally murdered member of our LGBTIQ+ fam LULU...I'll be back on the 1st June for the court hearing...#riplulu #ripspha #spokgoane #justiceforlulu," he tweeted.
