Most #TBT posts are either self-centered (because they focus solely on us) or self-depreciating (because we highlight how bad/funny we looked) but we sometimes step away from that to take stock of what is really important…
Which is what Somizi Mhlongo did when he took to the ‘gram to pay homage to his parents’ love.
He captioned the post:
“If u ever wondered why I have such a big heart. Why I Love in a big way. It’s because that’s the only thing I witnessed from the day I was born. My parents relationship. They were inseparable. They were twins. They were bff’s. Oh and sense of fashion shemmm.”
Somizi is the son of veteran actress, Mary Mhlongo and the late Ndaba Mhlongo.
In a past interview with Kgomotso Matsunyane on her late night SABC 2 show, Mhlongo shared how he thought his father had always known he was gay, even when he was younger. Regardless, Mhlongo has always felt loved. Which is probably why he is so happy to finally have an epic love of his own.
