Buying your first car is wonderful, but if you're making a lot of money, one car isn't enough, they say.

Celebrities in Mzansi are constantly flaunting their brand new vehicles, making us and their fans envious.

Take a look at what motivates these celebs.

AKA

The Grammy-winning rapper is a big fan of German automobiles.

AKA has a BMW i8 eDrive Coupe in his collection, which costs over a million Rands!

He also has a BMW X5, which is valued at over R2 million.

When he gave his mother her own BMW a few years ago, he shared his passion for German automobiles.

Jo-Ann Strauss

The former Miss South Africa and successful entrepreneur also enjoys driving German automobiles.

She adores Germany, speaks the language fluently, and her husband is a native of Munich, where BMW was built.

And, being the face of BMW, it's no surprise that the former Top Billing host adores the automobiles.

She was seen driving a BMW X4 for a few months before upgrading to a BMW X7 – which she customized to seat seven people – when she and her doctor husband were expecting their third child.

And the BMW i8 Roadster is Jo- Ann's dream car.

A beautiful woman with excellent taste in shoes and vehicles.

Jimmy Tau

Jimmy Tau, a former soccer player, is living lavishly.

The former Kaizer Chiefs defender travels in luxury automobiles to rest his feet and legs after his soccer career.

Jimmy has a Rolls-Royce Phantom in his collection, which is valued at R4.5 million.

When Mr. Tau whizzes around in his nearly R2 million yellow Porsche, no one can miss him.

Black Coffee

Black Coffee, one of the world's wealthiest DJs, understands how to flaunt his fortune. With all of his traveling and performing throughout the world, he should.

Black Coffee is one of South Africa's few Maserati owners. A vehicle that costs more than R3 million.

A Mercedes Benz G-Wagon, which is becoming increasingly popular among Mzansi celebs, is also in his car collection.

Cassper Nyovest

The award-winning rapper is recognized for his popular songs and his ability to sell out stadiums all across South Africa.

Cassper Nyovest's garage is also filling up.

He is the proud owner of two Bentley Continental GTs! Because one black Bentley will never be sufficient.

Each of these cars is worth over R3 million!

Cassper also owns two Mercedes-Benz premium cars, as if that wasn't enough.

Somizi

Somizi, a dance choreographer and Idols judge, doesn't just spend money on clothes; he also has excellent taste in automobiles.

His automotive collection is estimated to be valued over R3 million.

A Mercedes-Benz G350d and a BMW i8 are among the vehicles on display.

He has also been seen with a Number of Posh cars, but we are yet to confirm ownership.

Boity Thulo

We're not sure when the TV celebrity gets to drive her car or go for a spin because she's virtually constantly travelling somewhere exotic.

Boity Thulo owns and drives a Lumma Range Rover Sport, a vehicle that embodies her personality well.

When it's intended to be serious, it's fun and sporty.

Her Range Rover is worth almost R2 million, and she's given it the most adorable name, Esther.

Boity surprised her mother with her own luxury Mercedes-Benz for her birthday to demonstrate her gratitude and love for everything she's done.

She Is also rumored to own a Bentley.

Riky Rick

Riky Rick formerly had two vehicles. The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and a Ferrari.

The combined value of these two vehicles exceeds R5 million.

He was also seen driving a Mercedes-Benz AMG GTS coupe valued more than R2 million around town.

The rapper and fashion star loves to keep things simple these days, driving only one automobile.

He's presently behind the wheel of a vintage Porsche 911.

This is a far cry from his first automobile, a 1979 Mitsubishi Lancer.

Minnie Dlamini-Jones

Minnie Dlamini-Jones wears a lot of hats: she's a TV host, a producer, a businesswoman, and even a brand ambassador.

As a Jaguar brand ambassador, Minnie gets to drive one of the company's most luxurious vehicles.

She is the proud owner of a Jaguar F-PAC in all its opulence.

But don't be fooled by Minnie's appearance; she's owned and driven a variety of high-end automobiles for years.

In fact, by the time she was 25, she had amassed quite a collection of automobiles.

She was driving a black JEEP with a personalised number plate, and she was given a BMW X3 by her then lover, soccer player Itumeleng Khune, when she turned 21.

She also owned a BMW i8, and a few years ago, she shared her passion for German automobiles with her mother by purchasing a BMW X5.

Our celebrities know how and where to spend their money, and it's evident that they each have a favorite vehicle.

And if that means spending money on automobiles like the G-Wagon and BMW i8, all we have to do now is figure out when we can take one for a test drive.
