In celebration of Women’s Day we’d like to celebrate South African women entertainers who are doing great things abroad.
Although they might be fairly unknown in South Africa, Nqobile Ntshangase and Lisa Good are definitely raising the South African flag high overseas.
Nqobile the dancer
Nqobile is a South African dancer who has been living her dream, performing on international stages alongside musical A-listers.
Nqobile is currently touring America as one of Drake’s dancers for his Summer Sixteen Tour that is sweeping the country by storm.
Since the tour began Nqobile has been sharing her experience with her followers as she gives them a glimpse of life on the road with Drizzy Drake.
Nqobile has had the privilege of performing in massive arenas like the Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Centre.
Lisa Good the singer
Sandisiwe Lisa Ntonga more affectionately known as “Lisa Good” is a Pop/Electronica singer hailing from Lamontville, KZN.
Lisa recently released a new single titled Happy World also known as Haybo. The song was released with a video.
Lisa Good performed in Miami and New York in May after her song and music video were chosen for the Coast 2 Coast annual music show and competition program. Lisa Good’s music has been reviewed overseas and has been receiving raving reviews.
Shout out to the two ladies, we hope they continue to make great strides in their respective careers.
