In case you needed any more proof that Black Coffee (Nathi Maphumulo) is officially a big deal, his upcoming album is set to solidify his status as an international superstar.
Speaking to Complex UK, the musician and producer confirmed that he has an upcoming project that he has spent the past few months working on all over the globe.
“I’m working on my album and I’m kinda like working with everyone that I really love and Akon has been… for years… one of those people for me. He’s also like a friend and a bigger brother..,” he stated.
According to the musician, it should be ready by the end of August and fans can also expect to hear the likes of Tom Misch and David Guetta on the album.
The interviewer then went on to ask Coffee who his dream collaboration would be. He confirmed that he was already working with his dream collaboration in the form of Pharell Williams and the song – which will also be on the album – is almost ready.
During the interview, Black Coffee also gushed over Tom Misch who he touted as his favourite UK artist and stated that he was trying to bring him out to SA to perform.
