These celebrities made it big after a reality TV competition show

Even though they lost when they entered reality television shows, celebrities such as Katlego Mohoaduba and Nandi Madida made a name for themselves after they lost.

Sometimes losing may be the start up you need in your career to take you to the next level just like these media personalities:

She made it big after being a finalist on the Live presenter search

Nandi Madida may be winning now, but she did not have a smooth ride to the top. In 2010 she entered the SABC 1 Live Presenter Search and made it to the top four but lost to Minnie.

In the same year she came second in the O-Access presenter search competition which was won by Dineo Moeketsi. In 2011 Nandi rose to fame when she released her first single, Tonight.

She made it big after Big Brother competition

With her striking physical features, Blue Mbombo caught the attention of many people during the time when she was a contestant on the second season of Big Brother Mzansi in 2014. 

In 2016 this beauty was crowned Mzanzi's sexiest Woman and in the same year, she was chosen as the face of a beauty line.

She made it big after Big Brother

Katlego Mohoaduba was a Big Brother Mzansi housemate and right after the competition, Kat joined the reality TV show Diski Divas.

In 2016 Kat joined Touch Central and this year she is the First Lady of The Touch Down

, an afternoon show on Touch HD that she co hosts with Tbo Touch.

She made it big after entering So You Think You Are Funny

She is one of the few female comedians we have in South Africa and she has managed to create a solid career for herself. Celeste Ntuli was one of the top 10 contestants on the second season of the SABC 1 reality competition show series, So You Think You Are Funny in 2009. 

After not winning, Celeste was featured on the Blacks Only comedy showcase in 2010 and made appearances on Ukhozi FM with Linda Sibiya. In 2013 we witnessed Celeste making it in the acting industry as she took on the role of Siphokazi Zungu on Mzansi Magic's telenovela, Isibaya.
