Vuzu Amp’s drama series Ayeye is set to make a triumphant comeback and we are here for it.
The drama series premiered in 2015 and it won the hearts of many people with its interesting storyline and talented actors. Ayeye boasts a star-studded cast including Thapelo Mokoena, Zola, Vusi Kunene and Jessica Nkosi.

After eight years without airing, Phil Mphela reported that the show will be returning soon. "After numerous false alarms over the last 5 years, Ayeye is finally returning with a brand new season. Pre-production on BOMB produced hit series is underway. No word yet on whether all principal actors will return," reported Mphela.

With 13 episodes in its first season, the show kept viewers at the edge of their seats. This show focused on three friends who are copywriters, JK, Neo, and Lebo. In their quest to succeed and make it in the industry, they worked for a respected advertising agency.

It is unclear who will return when the show returns as some of the actors are busy with other projects. SK Khoza was recently working on the second season of King of Joburg.

Khoza had been away from the limelight for a couple of months after he was axed on The Queen, amid abuse allegations levelled against him. This after Sunday World reported that his then fiancée, Mandy Hongwane, had filed assault charges against Khoza after he allegedly beat, kicked and dragged her.

The actor was allegedly arrested on October 13 and appeared at the Randburg magistrate court where he received a bail of R2000. Mandy charged him with assault with 'intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Videos of his troubling behavior have recently gone viral online. The actor had a meltdown and he was seen involved in numerous altercations. Taking to Instagram, SK Khoza he explained what went wrong, claiming that he was trapped in a "dark space" and that he needed grace.

"Forgive ME for I have SINNED and was trapped in a very DARK SPACE," he wrote in part. He also prayed for his mental health, "Dear God, enlighten what's dark in me, strengthen what's weak in me. Mend what's broken in me, bind what's bruised in me. Heal what's sick in me. Revive whatever peace and love had died. Help me to understand that difficult times can make me stronger in the end.

Thapelo Mokoena who also starred on Ayeye hinted at working on a big project. He posted a picture of him on his Instagram profile holding a SAFTA award and captioned it "Coming soon season,"
Jessica Nkosi is now on The Queen but the show is currently working on its last season as it is coming to an end early next year. Vusi Kunene is also one of the lead character for eTV's popular telenovela House of Zwide.
