Thandiswa Mazwai will be giving her fans more than what they asked for by releasing an album, a documentary, an archive and an exhibition.

King Tha announced to her fans that in 2021 she will finally releasing new material much to the pleasure of her fans.

During the lockdown, Thandiswa has been engaging with her fans on social media and is even treating fans to a virtual concert on Saturday May 30 as a part of the Play Your Part Africa concert is a collaboration between Brand South Africa, the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture as well as Constitution Hill.

On Thursday, the musician shared that she will be releasing the three projects in 2021 and explained that her personal archive project is an attempt at fighting the erasure of women’s stories from history.

"I will not disappear. I will be seen beyond by time here! SANKOFA! Defend your story," shared Thandiswa.

Her fans were more than pleased with King Tha after the announcement as some were ready to report her to the public protector but she assured them those good things are on the way.

Thandiswa
