If her recent tweet is anything to go by, the actress is ready to start her own family and embark on the motherhood journey. This comes after Lunga shared pictures of him during the 947 Ride Joburg challenge.
“This happened yesterday. Time to take on another challenge. Any ideas?” he tweeted. Thando responded boldly to the tweet and said "Fatherhood." Fans were left convinced that Thando is ready to bring a baby Shabalala into the world, and they backed the idea. The couple recently rekindled their love and they are going strong. This follows a short break after Thando apparently went back to her ex-businessman Jaji Abolore.
Lunga allegedly became jealous when Thando reunited with Jaji and was horrified. He apparently wanted to get back with her, after he got dumped for the businessman. Pouring cold water on these claims, Lunga slammed the rumours and asked for his name to be taken off of this. Slamming the fake news, Lunga commented “This is the nonsense that I won’t tolerate. There's no need for my name to be mentioned in this article full of inaccuracies. For everyone’s sake remove any mention of my name,” he said as quoted by OkMzansi.
They have neither confirmed nor denied reports that they are a couple. Their flirtatious social media posts have given us the green light to call them a couple. Fans started speculating after they were spotted looking cozy at the Vodacom Durban July. They were once again spotted at Somizi and Mohale's wedding together which convinced hat they are an item.
It is beautiful to see a young couple like them flourishing in all almost all aspects of their lives. Thando is expected to reprise her role as Beauty in the second season of Netflix’s How To Ruin Christmas.
This season the series holds a lot of festive firsts for the blended family - Beauty and Sbu’s first wedding anniversary, Lydia and Themba’s first Christmas as parents and the family’s first Christmas without their beloved matriarch, Gogo Twala who unfortunately passes away after a fun-filled day under the not-so-watchful eye of Tumi Sello.
We follow the bereaved family to KwaZulu-Natal as they quickly band together on Christmas Day to plan the burial of Gogo Twala, which comes with its own set of challenges as the chief mourners descend into town to ensure a smooth service and After Tears reception. We find out more about the vivacious Gogo Twala, who, of course, has her own secrets (did we expect anything less?) and dive deeper into the inner workings of the couples and families as the story unfold
The show's creator, Rethabile Ramaphakela recently commented on the second season of the show, saying, “Off the back of season 1, we know the audience wants answers so now, they will finally get them as we invite everyone back into the lives of the Sellos and Twalas. How to Ruin Christmas season 2 will still bring that chaotic but relatable family drama with everyone’s favourite black sheep, Tumi Sello, at the centre of it all.
