It was announced earlier today that Thando Thabethe will be leaving Generations the legacy but we have yet to hear a reason why.
In a statement released by the SABC, Thando thanked the Generations cast a crew for the role they have played in her growth while Generations executive producer Mfundi Vundla merely said, “she has a great future to look forward to.
Thabethe’s last scenes will air in January 2018. I guess we’ll have to wait and see under what circumstances Nolwazi’s character leaves for us to know whether this split was really amicable or not.
UPDATE:
Thabethe has since revealed that she quit simply because she does not have enough time to do all the things she needs to do every day.
And it seems as though the split was amicable as she told Times Live, “we are treated like royalty at Generations, so it’s all love but I need more time to explore other things.”
