Here’s how Thomas Gumede became famous and accomplished his goals.
Thomas Gumede A Dad
The most common celebratory remark to Thomas Gumede was “welcome to the fathers’ club.”
This follows actress Zola’s announcement earlier this year that she was expecting a child, but she kept the name of the baby’s father a mystery. Zola’s legions of followers were both excited and anxious, while others were desperate to learn who the father was.
Mzansi then found out that Thomas Gumede is the father of Zola Nombona’s child, and fans are overjoyed. On their respective social media accounts, Zola and Thomas both announced the news.
The mother’s identity was not revealed by Thomas Gumede or his captions, and neither was the baby daddy’s identity revealed by Zola. However, based on ultrasound images, it appears like the couple is expecting their first child together, and fans are overjoyed.
“I remember clearly the day I found out about you. Your mother looked at me and said “I’m pregnant” and then proceeded to cry. I understood it was tears of joy, anxiety, excitement, disbelief, love and the small realization that life will never be the same again. As I’ve watched you grow from trying to feel for the 1st kick, to beg you to stop guquluzing and playing soccer and your mother’s tummy now in 3rd trimester.
Thomas spilled a bombshell to the fans, much to Mzansi’s delight that he is going to be a parent. Thomas said that he is not the father of Zola Nombona’s unborn child, but Mzansi got it all wrong.
On Twitter, he joked about the tiny reveal, stating that what they saw was the baby’s name. Mzansi, on the other hand, is not convinced because there is a date of birth printed on the ultrasound that matches Zola’s 10/03/1992.

Trevor Noah apparently asked Samkelo out throughout their relationship, but she turned him down. She stated, in her own words:
“I was too young and oh, and I was dating Thomas (Gumede). He was not ‘Trevor’ yet. I was straight out of college. My life was taking off. He was just a sweet guy, always cracking jokes and wanted this film made. We lived in the same area code. Sometimes he would pick me up so that we’d go to set together, so he was a sweetheart. My boyfriend hated it at the time. When he found out he was like, ‘What, he picked you up?’ I was like ‘We are working on the same set…’ no Trevor was a sweetheart.”
Trevor approached her and asked her out, but she declined. She claimed she was too young to date the comedian, who at the time was not well-known. She had recently graduated from college, had a bright future ahead of her, and was dating Thomas Gumede.
Thomas Gumede was also involved in a romantic relationship with MTV VJ Nomuzi Mabena. In 2014, the pair called it quits after a long relationship. Thomas developed feelings for Nomzamo Mbatha the following year, but their relationship only lasted a few months.
