According to a statement released by his family via TKZee's Twitter account, funeral service will take place at the Rhema Bible Church North, Hans Schoeman Street, Randburg, Johannesburg from 09:00 to 11:30 on Friday 19 August.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 24 August at St Stithians Chapel, 3 Chapel Drive, St Stithians College, Lyme Park, Sandton from 14:00 to 17:00. Those who cannot attend the services can watch them live on Facebook in a link provided in the statement

The family has thanked fans, family and friends for their generous expressions of sympathy.

“As a family we would like to thank everyone for the immense outpouring of love, condolences and well wishes. Tokollo was a son, a brother, a cousin, a mentor, a guardian, and a great artist that inspired many,” read part of the statement.
The family announced on Monday that the musician died as a result of an epileptic seizure. "It is with great sadness that the family wishes to confirm the passing of Tokollo 'Magesh' Tshabalala. Magesh, as he was affectionately known, passed away this morning as a result of an epileptic seizure. The family requests for privacy during this difficult period," reads part of the statement.

A relative told City Press that he was found lifeless and without bruises. "No visible injuries can be seen on his body, he was just lying in bed," the relative said as quoted by the publication.

TKZee's brand members Kabelo Mabalane and Zwai Bala are reportedly devastated over his. According to TKZee's business manager, Refiloe Ramogase, they feel as though a brother has been lost.

Refiloe told Daily Sun, “This is like losing a sibling and this is why they are not speaking to the media right now. They are going through a lot.

“Magesh was a genuinely good human being. He had a good heart. Anybody who knew him, loved him. Like anybody else, he was perfectly imperfect. Even if you argued, at the end of the day, you knew that he cares for you and has your back. We’ll also miss his sense of humour.”

Messages of condolence and tributes continue to flood social media.
May his soul rest in peace.
