In one of the shows, he brought out comedian and superstar Trevor Noah and according to Mpho Hart, the crowd gave him the biggest round of applause he has ever seen.
"Last nights show in Pretoria was one for the record books…. My brother
@trevornoah surprised the audience with a pop up and got one of the biggest applause’s that I have ever witnessed, I can’t thank you all enough…. Mpho Hart loves South Africa ….Until next time guys!!!!!!" exclaimed the comedian and actor.
Trevor Noah also gave Kevin his flowers saying the time they had together will remain as one of the best memories ever.
“Few nights in my life will live in my memory like the night I had the pleasure and honour of introducing my friend, my fellow comedian and absolute super star, @kevinhart4real on stage in my home country South Africa,” he wrote.
“The crowd was electric, Kevin killed it, and we spent the night celebrating with his tequila. (Which is actually really smooth and delicious. Not an ad, Kevin didn’t want to pay me),” he continued.
While some enjoyed the shows, people complained about the no cellphones policy saying they paid a lot of money for tickets to not be able to capture every moment.
Nkanyezi Khubeka said three women got kicked out because they refused to adhere to the rules. Trevor recently hosted the Grammy's and stole the show with his controversial jokes.
Reflecting on the show, he said, “Wow! What a night! A huge thank you to everyone that attended or watched from home! My mind is still trying to process everything that happened! Congrats to all the winners and nominees!! Music’s biggest night is truly YOUR night! Thank you for sharing your gift with the world!”
