South Africa's favorite comedian, Trevor Noah has developed a knack for making not only South Africans, but people around the world roll on the floor with laughter. This week it seemed that he was to be given a bigger platform to continue doing so as rumors emerged that the comedian would have his own television show airing in the USA.
American website, www.deadline.com announced that a sitcom inspired by Noah's life would be airing on a major US network and would be produced by Overbrook entertainment, a company co-owned by Will and Jada-Pinkett Smith.
However Trevor took to social networks to dismiss the rumours, claiming that he was more focused on getting the Playstation 4 instead. Such a classic remark from Noah.
We do hope to see a sitcom from the comedian in the near future, but it's clear it won't be right now.
