TT has teamed up with multi-award winning production house Bongoe TV to bring Mzansi viewers the brand new home renovation show which will premiere on 28 January at 21:30 pm.
The show is inspired by TT Mbha's real-life property agency, Mzansi Cribs, and it celebrates and gives back to ordinary South Africans who have made an extraordinary impact on the lives of others.
According to a statement shared by the host, in each episode, a neighbor, friend, colleague, or family member will nominate a deserving individual someone who truly embodies the spirit of giving of whatever they can be, be it time money their homes, or simply love to benefit those around them.
The lucky recipient gets a room makeover worth R50 000.00. Hosted by the charismatic Mbha, each week the Mzansi Cribs Makeover team has just 3 days to create a functional and beautiful space for our selfless nominee.
The show will feature drama and hilarity but overall will deliver beautiful heartwarming nominees that are sure to lift Mzansi viewer's spirits. "We are excited to be bringing our viewers Mzansi Cribs Makeover. This will be a feel-good show that will bring a sense of humanity and hope in these trying times. The show seeks to be a good treat that will resource very well with our audiences " Nomsa Philiso Director Local Entertainment Channel at M-net
TT Mbha shot fame when he was part of the cast of Somizi's reality show Living The Dream With Somizi. The two were once Mzansi's favorite long-term besties until they had a fallout.
It seems their beef started when Somizi did not get any special mention among the people TT thanked for their support during his Covid journey. TT also never attended Mama Mary's funeral. Somizi has since been spending most of his time with his "kissing buddy" Vusi Nova. Their friendship has been on everyone's lips recently after the two even spend Christmas day together at Somizi's Zimbali house.
Many were convinced that Somgaga and Mohale were going through a rough patch again but Somizi clapped back by tweeting.
“I have an ask....to the people who are so invested in my love life.....is your festive that bad that you're so interested in what's happening between me Vusi and Mohale....hayi it must be bad shemmmm askies.....how can I help [email protected]_motaung babe siza tu. @novavusi love help.”
Congratulations TT.
