Following their arrest last week Friday in Tanzania after Dr Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester fled the country for almost two weeks, the couple has finally landed in South Africa this morning.

Dr Nandipha and Thabo Bester landed at Lanseria accompanied by heavily armoured South African Police Services )SAPS) personnel. Dr Nandipha was dressed in grey or white sweatpants, white takkies, green military jacket with a hood covering her face as well as a face mask for a full disguise. She was then immediately rushed by other female police into what looked like a white Hyndai H1, and could not even answer one question that the journalists put to her, regarding her escape.

"BREAKING [WATCH] Dr #NandiphaMagudumana walks out of one car into another under heavy police guard. The aircraft carrying her and #ThaboBester landed at Lanseria Airport at 4am." wrote Chriselda Lewis, SABC
Meanwhile convicted Facebook r*pist and murderer and criminal mastermind Thabo Bester was transported in a separate, heavily guarded police van, to ensure that he does not escape before the law enforcement's eyes.

"BREAKING [WATCH] I will be LIVE on
@MorningLiveSABC at 6am with all the latest including Facebook rapist #ThaboBester being driven out of a police nyala after the plane he and #DrNandiphaMagudumana were traveling landed at Lanseria Airport." wrote Chriselda Lewis, SABC
Scores of tweeps have since weighed in on the arrival of the two fugitives after waiting for a long minute with bated breath. Evidently, there were also doubts that they will ever set foot in the country, considering the previous reports that suggested that their deportation may take a little longer while awaiting the Tanzania government to finalize their release.

"Such a sad moment at Lanseria as the couple is parted and saddest part about all this being that Bonnie and Clyde might never see each other again and that all they wanted was to be with each other no matter the crimes committed." wrote Cyborg
"Dr Nandipha Magudumana did not have anything to say when asked by Chriselda Lewis moments after landing at Lanseria airport from Tanzania this morning." wrote Rotombo
