Audi gifts Wayde Van Niekerk with a new ride

Isn’t it ironic how Wayde’s legs not only won him a gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic games but his legs have scored him a new Audi R8?

We’re still picking our jaws from the floor after it was announced that South African golden boy, Wayde Van Niekerk, was presented with a brand new fiery red Audi R8.

Wayde and his mother were ushered into a packed O.R Tambo International airport by security this morning where he was then presented with the sexy and not forgetting very expensive Audi R8.

Wayde and his mother were all smiles as they marvelled at Wayde’s new ride whilst the media and public took numerous photo’s with the golden boy.

This is definitely a well-deserved gift for one of South Africa’s greatest athletes.

Wayde Van Niekerk won the 400m run at the 2016 Rio Olympics and set a new world record of 43.03 seconds, blowing the old record of 43.18 seconds right out of the water!
