Kagiso Rakosa was one of the fastest-rising actors in the 2000s who gained national attention for her role as Sharon on Generations. Her fame was however short-lived as she disappeared from the limelight nearly a decade ago.
Just before she left Generations, the beautiful and talented actress found her name dragged in a nasty rumour about being involved in an affair with another prominent married actor and a baby who was born out of the affair.
Kagiso Rakosa’s baby and baby daddy
Some sources claim that Kagiso Rakosa has a child but nothing is known about her alleged child as she is quite private.
Some years back in the early 2010s, the actress was rumoured to be in a relationship with the late Shona Ferguson and that a child was born from the affair. The rumours began circulating around the time when Kagiso Rakosa exited Generations.
Addressing the affair allegations, the late Shona Ferguson denied having an affair with Kagiso Rakosa. Speaking to Phil Mphela, he said:
“I, Shona Ferguson, do not know Kagiso Rakosa (Sharon on Generations) personally. She worked with my wife Connie and that's as far as I know her.”
He further revealed that he only spoke with her for the first time during Connie Ferguson’s farewell from Generations where they joked about the affair rumour as they both saw it as nothing but a silly joke.

Since 2014, Kagiso Rakosa has been nowhere to be seen on our screens and it appears that she took a backseat in acting.
According to some sources, she reportedly went back to pursue her studies and graduated with a degree in BCom.
Early in the year, Kagiso Rakosa made an appearance on Mzansi Magic’s reality show- Date My Family and her fans instantly recognized her. Even after years of being away from the limelight, Kagiso Rakosa doesn’t look like she has aged a day.
