Next month, movie goers will get to experience Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s acting chops when she takes to the silver screen alongside Skeem Saam’s Cedric Fourie, Vusi Kunene, Joey Rasdien, Quincy Giles and Legendary Nigerian actress, Patience Ozokwo for Nigeria’s latest pan-African offering titled “Johnny Just Come” or JJC for short.
According to top Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji, Chaka Chaka even cut her hair for the role. The film was shot in both Lagos and South Africa and is set to premiere on 16 March 2018.
The film also features South African favourites Thando Thabethe and iEmmy nominee, Thuso Mbedu and was directed by award-winning filmmaker, Elvis Chucks.
