Zakes and Nandi are both musicians and have very successful careers but have never released any music together that is until now and it seems the project is a family affair as it features their son Shaka.

Taking to their social media pages the award-winning artists announced the new single with a black and white image of themselves nude.

In their captions which was the same for both accounts, they shared more details about the single such as the name title which is Organic #MyOrganicBody and is set for release on September 18, 2020.

Organic was written by both Nandi and Zakes with the assistance of their 3-year-old son, Shaka. The music bug seems to have already caught the couple's little one, who has already started learning how to play the piano.

The song's vocals are taken care of by Nandi, who just won her first South African Music Award (SAMA) for her collaboration with K.O on his track Say You, Will, production will be in the hands of her husband, Zakes.

Nandi commenting on Zakes' post about the single release seems to have thrown a little bit of shade that could be possibly directed at the report by Sunday World about their marriage contract.

Zakes had written Organic, in title case instead of all caps as Nandi had done on her post.

"You’ve got to Capitalize on their lies.. and then smize 😂 ♥️! Let’s goooooo “Organic” " commented Nandi on Zakes' post could she responding to the report.

Sunday World alleges that the couple has petitioned the Joburg High Court to dissolve their marriage. According to the publication, the decision to do so is because the couple due to their “misunderstanding with the marriage officer” entered community of property marriage instead of out of community of property.

The couple is seeking legal grounds to remove Nandi from their joint estates. The multi-million-rand properties include an estate in Morningside, KwaZulu-Natal which costs R3.5 million and another in Thornhill, Modderfontein, Gauteng. These are allegedly owned by Zakes Bantwini. The publication reports that Nandi does not own any assets.

When it comes to their lives the couple is very private and does not share much with their fans besides what they think they need to know.
