Trevor Noah will officially start as the host of The Daily Show on 28 September.
This was announced on the show's official Twitter account on Thursday. The South African comedian, who has had a successful career abroad, will replace Jon Stewart, who has been with the show for years.

After his new gig was announced back in March, Trevor took to Twitter to share his thoughts. He wrote: "No-one can replace Jon Stewart. But together with the amazing team at The Daily Show, we will continue to make this the best damdn new show!"
