The official trailer to the highly-anticipated film Sparkle (a remake of the 1976 original), starring Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks, has finally been released.
Whitney, who has owned the film rights since the early 90′s both produced and starred in the film. She plays the role of the mother to three girls who decide to form a singing group during the height of the Motown era.

Let’s hope the movie is not completely terrible – hype alone will ensure it’s a commercial success. But if the acting is bad, Whitney’s already battered legacy will take another beating… Just please no posthumous Oscar.
I can’t wait to see this movie. I have always enjoyed all of Whitney’s movie and think that she was a very good actress. I have always been a fan of Whitney’s & Jordin’s. I am really looking forward to this movie this summer.
