Thando Thabethe has achieved what most young actors dream of - starring on Generations: The Legacy. The actress, radio star and TV presenter, who joined the soapie recently, is excited about her new role.
We recently had a chat with her, after all we haven't had an opportunity to find out how she's taking to being a cast member. On her new role she said: "The show is something I've watched for many years." She added that she's especially happy because she joined it while it was still embarking on a new journey. "It's exciting."
Thando is not new to acting. She's also known for her character on SABC 1 comedy My Perfect Family, which is in it's third season currently. Although Generations: The Legacy is not a comedy, Thando has adapted quite well. She said being on the show has showed her that she really loves what she does.
And what's not there to love? She acts alongside some of SA's favourite actors including Manaka Ranaka, Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo. That's impressive, right? Viewers have welcomed Thando with open arms and have embraced her character Nolwazi.
Speaking on the reaction from fans, she said: "They were all excited to see me on the show, and where Nolwazi is going."
Nolwazi, who's originally from Alex, is friends with Getty. She left Alex to go to Cape Town in the hopes of pursuing her dream career and she's now back. The young lady, who works for Gadaffi, loves stirring up a little drama.
Will you be tuning in to watch Thando's character Nolwazi tonight?
