With us crossing the halfway mark of the year, you would think that there isn't much news to tell or tea to spill but honey, that's where you are wrong. Let's remind you of the best and less great stories of August 2019.

8.  Lady Zamar Breaks Silence On Babes Bullying Saga
Lady Zamar was a victim of a viral video which saw her being bullied over her acne and being called a b*tch, amoungst other derogatory names.

The culprit behind the clip was none other than gqom singer Babes, who later confessed to indeed making the nasty statement.

Lady Zamar - real name Yamikani Janet Banda - maintained a dignified silence throughout the whole saga until she eventually spoke to Drum magazine about her pain, embarrassment and even anger over the drama that had played out in the media.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi might be South Africa's bae but the politician has his eyes set on one woman, the EFF spokesperson has been dating Mmabatho Montsho for a couple of years and the couple likes to keep their relationship private. But we love seeing these two, boo'd up.

Zodwa Wabantu is known for being real and candid about everything and anything - she doesn't mince her words. Zodwa poured her heart out on Sincerely Yours with Enhle Mbali.

Enhle had a heart-to-heart with Zodwa Wabantu about the various ways in which women express themselves. And the viewers were 100% with this interaction.
The Metro FM presenter, Pearl Modiadie, took to her Instagram stories to share a pic of bae. The couple posted a cute video together in what looked like their bedroom.

Lindiwe Mazibuko received a ton of praise from her fans and followers.
The body confident 39-year-old (who splits herself between SA and abroad) posted a pic of herself in a two piece swimsuit during a getaway to Spanish island of Mallorca and although we wish were there, we were and still are here for the self-love.

When Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha reunited romantically after that video, it seemed like a bone of contention for actress Jessica Nkosi.

The Isibaya star took to Twitter to rant about men who abuse their spouses. Some people joined her in her rant, while others seemed confused by the tweet.

Lady Zamar caused a social media frenzy when she responded to musician and ex-boyfriend Sjava's controversial tweet about social media wokeness and the country's political landscape.

In a tweet that she deleted, the Collide hitmaker said that men are the ones to blame for the country's deteriorating status.

"No.. the reason our country will go to waste is coz most men aren't willing to stand for anything or do what's right..instead they do stuff that make our society rotten and create broken women all around them," she wrote.

Yes sis, go off!

Enhle Mbali's PR team, Capacity Relations, released the following statement on her behalf about hersekf and Black Coffee's public (pending) divorce:

We have no comment on this. We have however noticed some irresponsible articles being published on the issue.

Though the statement did not stop anymore speculation or reveal much about Enhle's true stance on the matter, one could assume that the news of the divorce broke prematurely.
