Although the bulk of the movie will be filmed in the UK, it has been suggested that the fictional African nation of Wakanda, home to the character Black Panther, will play a key role.
The film, reportedly titled Avengers: Age of Ultron, is only set for release in 2015, but all the stars from the original film have been reconfirmed to reprise their roles.
Earlier this week a Cape Town-based casting coordinator was added to the production crew list, confirming that scenes from the film would be shot in the Mother City.
Talking about the film writer and director Joss Whedon told International Press about the film. “A lot of the sequel has to do with the team’s place, not only in America but in the world.”
