Trevor Noah and Bonang Matheba are among the most followed African entertainers on Twitter. The celebrities, who've both achieved great success over the years, have also gained tons of fans.

Trevor's star continues to rise and he's proving that nothing is impossible, if you work hard, of course. The comedian was recently revealed as Jon Stewart's successor on The Daily Show. This made all South Africans proud and his grandmother also shared how happy she was about the news. She believes that Trevor really deserves this break.

Bonang is also making waves and changing the SA entertainment industry, without even trying. Queen B, who has revealed that she's working on a new TV show and shooting something in Nigeria, won her first Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award in LA.
