Being a public figure is tough enough without having people hovering over you all the time, watching your every move. What we love about Celeste Khumalo is that as young as she may be, she's still learning, she's still growing and she is in her own lane.

Celeste Khumalo

What many might not know about the former Miss SA teen is that besides being a beautiful face on our TV screens, Celeste is an entrepreneur too.

The Ponds ambassador owned a beauty salon called Republic Nails where she dealt mainly with nails and hair. Celeste took to Instagram to let us all know that after three successful years of owning her business, she is ready to say goodbye to it.

''I have learned a lot from this business and in the break that I will be taking I want to travel, learn and hopefully hop onto another business venture," she explained during our interview. Celeste still owns the rights to the company but as far as the physical space goes, she is no longer running it.

This isn't the end of the road for her though as we will still see her beautiful face on out TV screens and billboards.

She is currently still acting and shooting commercials while studying towards her MBA. Business and entrepreneurship are of great interest to her so sooner or later, she plans to venture into another business. In the break that she'll be taking, she will be continuing her studies, getting her paper and making time to travel in between it all.

*Attention* @republicnailsza is closing. It's been a great 3 Years! Thank you for your support 💜 #rnck #republicnailsza

Celebrities like Pearl Modiadie, Ayanda Thabethe and Nunu Khumalo congratulated her and wished her all the best. We love seeing young women like Celeste better themselves.

In a dog-eat dog-world, people like Celeste who are always open to learning, open to growth and learn from their mistakes are what the young African girl needs as a role model. We wish her luck with all her future endeavors.
