Although she exchanged being in the public eye for a more quiet life and a career in corporate, Peggy-Sue Khumalo consistently makes a mark in every facet of her career - whether as a beauty queen or a woman in corporate.

According to Business Live, Peggy Sue Khumalo has made history after being appointed as the first woman to head up Standard Bank's wealth division. The former Miss South Africa is set to start her new job next year in February.

At the end of January 2019, Peggy will leave her 17-year career at Investec, where she currently holds a position as head of the public sector unit and BEE financing.

Peggy reigned as Miss SA in 1996 and is married to TV and radio broadcaster,  Xolani Gwala. The couple met each other via a mutual friend.
