Ey bra, some people seriously need to learn how to let things go. In this instance, we're talking about some of the 16 "exiled" Generations actors who are still on a war path against their former employers. The former Generations stars are making headlines again, but this time it's because they want the new version of the show to be taken off air. By the looks of things that isn't going to happen anytime soon
The SABC has confirmed that Generations Legacy is here to stay. SABC spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago informed the media that Generations will be on our television screens for a long time to come. I guess my "don't make plans between 8-8:30 on a weeknight" rule will have to stick! Kganyago went on record to say,
“I have heard stories that the actors plan to get an interdict against the SABC, but we have nothing official for them.”
According to Sunday World, the lawyers representing the infamous "Generations 16," only filed their court application to pause the airing of Generations Legacy on Tuesday.
The protest to halt the new show, comes after the former actors accused the SABC of breaching previous contractual agreements signed by the 16 actors before they were fired during a pay dispute last year.
Is all this commotion even worth it?
