Flax Rabanyana rejects Vth Season deal after winning The Hustle

The country fell in love with Flex Rabanyana when he was a contestant on the second season of The Hustle. He eventually won the show and one of his main prices was a record deal with Vth Season.

Vth Season is the same record company that represents AKA, Tressor and Big Star Johnson amongst other artists and we were quiet shocked when Flex rejected the deal.

In a series of tweets, Flex made the unexpected announcement. He started off his rant stating that “after much deliberation, I have taken a decision to NOT sign with Vth Season”. He further stated that he believes that independence in music is a big deal to him and that he looks up to artists such as Cassper for being independent. See the tweets below.


What do you guys think, is it a wise decision or should he just stick with Vth Season?
