It's been a rough six years for rapper Molemo "Jub-Jub'' Maarohanye but things are started to look up for the former convicted felon.
Since embarking on a self-rediscovery journey since his release from prison early this year, fans and even fellow artists have shown the rapper nothing but love. From his experiences in prison, one of Jub-Jub's biggest lessons besides the consequences of his actions is the power and spirit of forgiveness. Because of forgiveness, Molemo has been given another chance at a better life, another chance at freedom and another chance to follow his dreams. Aside from catching up with the rest of the artists in the music industry, he has made it a personal mission to give back to the community and inspire young South Africans through his personal experience and teach them the importance of forgiveness.
One of the main people Jub-Jub wants so badly to reconnect with is his son Christian whom he co-parents with Kelly Khumalo. He also wants to catch up on lost time with family. In a sit-down interview with Morning Live Jub-Jub admitted to claims that he is a married man and has been for the longest time and when asked about his relationship with Kelly Khumalo and his son, he simply refused to comment. His son Christian is all grown up and turned out to be an exact replica of his father, Jub-Jub must have been this cute in his younger days.
While working on new material, Jub-Jub tries to gain back his fan base by making appearances at other artists shows like he did this past weekend at Major League Gardens. We're not saying we'll never forget what he did nor will he and the families of those four children, but we can at least believe that he is a changed man.
We are proud of Jub-Jub for not giving up on his dreams regardless of what he's been through. We really do hope that he regains all his glory because he is really talented.
