Kalushi scoops Best Film Award in Egypt

Proudly South African film makes waves across the borders.

Kalushi wins an award in Egypt

It has not been months since the film that depicts the life of the struggle icon Solomon Mahlangu came out but it is already winning with its latest victory being in Egypt.

At the beginning of the month of March South African celebrities came out in numbers for the premiere of the proudly South African movie Kalushi and just a month later, the movie has managed to scoop it's first award in Egypt 

Eye Witness News (EWN) announced confirmed the news on Twitter earlier on this morning. 

If you haven't seen the movie, do yourself a favor and go to the nearest cinema to watch one of the greatest South African biopics to ever come from this country.

As you all may know, the movie stars talented actors such as likes of Thabo Rametsi, Gcina Mhlophe, Fumani Shilubana, Pearl Thusi and more.

Congolese-born musician Capso recorded a song for the movie which also features international star, Wyclef Jean.
