Crime in this country is reaching new levels.

While some people are attacking foreign nationals in Durban, Lee-Ann Liebenberg has gone through a traumatic experience of her own. The model has taken to Twitter to reveal that she and her family were held up on their driveway by three armed men.

She wrote: "We were just followed home from Hyde Park shopping centre and help up in our driveway by 3 armed men MERC Benz BM 49PW."

The married mother of two also urged the public to look out for a white Mercedes Benz.

This sad ordeal comes just as the family was celebrating Gabriella's first birthday.

Lee-Ann later tweeted: "Family lunch celebrating my baby's birthday could've ended so badly today. All glory to GOD. We're all ok. Shaken and stirred but GRATEFUL."

The worst part is that her babies witnessed the whole thing and they will probably never forget this day. These men even pointed guns at Lee-Ann's daugthers. Imagine the trauma.

We're glad that they're okay.
