Letoya Makhena is one of South Africa’s most famous traditional healers. The star has been in the entertainment industry since she was a child and during her time in the limelight, she has been open about her journey as a Sangoma.
Taking to Instagram, Letoya recently set the record straight on her spirituality after many people questioned her amid the rise of celebrity traditional healers.
“For those of you who have been asking when I decided to embark on this journey… The answer is… A long time ago.
I was 19 when I graduated from initiation school and while I’ve never been shy about who I am, bongaka ba ka has also never been a fashion statement,” she wrote in part. Take a look at the post below:
