The dazzling Miss SA pageant will be held at Sun City on March 29 and aside from the excitement of seeing the new Miss SA crowned on stage, the big attration will be the music. Some of South Africa’s most talented musicians will be taking to the stage to provide South Africans with some of their tastiest sounds.

A night of beauty and brilliance awaits us all as Miss SA 2015 will be kicked off by a stellar line up which includes the likes of Beatenberg, Gangs of Ballet and Sterling EQ. The three bands will entertain both the Superbowl audience as well thousands of TV viewers around the country watching the live broadcast.

As if 2015 couldn’t get any better for SA Idols host, Proverb; the rapper has a new album out AND will also be hosting the pageant this year. I can just imagine how many cheques are making their way into his inbox every month.

In case you were not aware, Proverb’s music career celebrated its 10 year running. He has since released his latest album The Read Tape

Beatenberg enjoyed an awesome 2014 and the boys from Durban have consistently created a new South African sound that pays homage to our country’s musical heritage whilst also breaking new ground with an unmistakably global pop feel. ZAlebs met up with the band last year and the boys were even kind enough to treat us to a load shedding session which you can hear right here.

I can't wait to see them, Gangs of Ballet and Sterling EQ all on stage on the 29th of March. Miss SA is always a spectacle and a great watch.

In the mean time, while you're waiting for the 29th of March to arrive, why don't you catch up with the latest happenings in the controversial Flabba Saga? The rapper's memorial took place yesterday afternoon and there were tears as well as laughter as the star was remembered by family and friends.
