Artist Mlindo The Vocalist has gone through the most these past few weeks as he was involved in two car accidents.

The horrific accidents might have left him emotionally distraught however something positive looks set to come out of those two experiences.

It is reported that Mlindo will start an awareness program on road safety. This awareness program is said to target the youth in order to minimize the tragic road accidents that occur in the country every year.

The Ama-Blesser hitmaker sustained minor injuries from another car accident in Durban after a performance in Morningside. The second accident happened early this month when he was travelling from Durban to Margate. His vehicle was hit and he crashed badly.

According to his manager Nyiko Bilankulu, Mlindo is not hurt but he is 'tired' and is currently in the studio working on new music.

"At the moment he is currently in studio working on his album. It is almost ready and will be released during the course of this year. For now until February we will be releasing one song," said Bilankulu.

With regards to the awareness program, Bilankulu says that it is important to alert the youth on road safety and the frequent use of seat belts. He reckons that if Mlindo had not followed the rules and used a safety belt, a different outcome would have occurred.

He and his team along with Mlindo will be focusing on turning this horrible experience into something positive. They see this as a good idea as he has experienced a car accident first hand.

It is not known how he will preach road safety on roads, it could be through music but we have to wait and see how he will use his artistic creativity.
